Sponsor
Sponsor rules.
Updated September 6, 2026
Sponsor the attention. Never the outcome. These rules apply to every auction on Ribbyn and are accepted with each bid.
- 01
Who you are contracting with
A sponsorship agreement is with Slice of Media, Inc., trading as Ribbyn. Charges and invoices are issued in that name, so it is the one your finance team will see.
- 02
What is for sale
Presenting and Partner positions around a program's edition: a named credit on the public page and in share assets. Nothing else. No placement, no eligibility, no early look at results.
- 03
Who may sponsor
Organizations approved by Ribbyn with a saved payment method. An organization eligible to compete in a program cannot sponsor that program's edition. Ribbyn may approve a narrow, disclosed exception; the disclosure appears on the page.
- 04
Bidding
Each position has an opening minimum and a minimum increment. A bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn; raising replaces your earlier bid. Standings are public while the auction runs.
A bid placed inside the anti-sniping window extends the close by the published extension, so nobody wins by timing. Buy Now, where offered, takes a position outright and cannot be outbid.
- 05
What is charged
Only final positions are charged, after the close, to the payment method saved while bidding. Losing bidders pay nothing.
If a winner's payment fails, they have the published grace period to fix it. After that the position passes to the next eligible bidder at their own bid.
- 06
Refunds and cancellations
A publisher or Ribbyn may cancel an auction before it closes; nothing is charged. Once an edition is published with your credit, the charge is final. If the credit is not displayed as published, write to [email protected] and the charge is refunded.
- 07
Revenue
Net revenue from a publisher-sourced auction is shared with the program's publishers under their agreed pool. Ribbyn's share is fixed and published. Money never touches results.
- 08
Conduct
Attempting to influence a program's results, contacting its editors about placement, or bidding through an ineligible affiliate ends the sponsorship and may end the relationship with Ribbyn.
